GLORY OF COLOMBO LIFE AFTER WAR

An Unseen Story

Thirty years of war is now over. Yet, some LTTE remnants in exile are striving to hoodwink the world that the government of Sri Lanka is undermining the rights of the Tamil citizen. Obviously, the remaining LTTE scum has to find a way to secure their living, when the so-called diaspora Tamils do not want them to be extorted any more.

It is indeed a sad situation that those who are sympathizing with the LTTE ideology cannot perceive the freedom, and joy that their brethren in Sri Lanka are now enjoying. A new era has certainly begun, the country has been freed from terrorism and thousands of Tamils have been liberated from the clutches of the LTTE. The government is fast making ways for them to live peacefully. Now, they are free from fear, free from torture, free to smile, free to move, and above all they are free to be happy.

The defence.lk team recently had a glimpse, how the Tamil community in Colombo rejoices the freedom from terror, and lives in harmony with other races.
